  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Seafood mix (shrimp, calamari, mussels) - 300 grams
  • White wine - 100 ml
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 1 liter

Steps

  1. In a large pot, bring 1 liter of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped onion, sautéing until the onion is translucent.
  3. Add the diced bell pepper and continue to sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  4. Stir in the halved cherry tomatoes and cook for another 3 minutes until they start to break down.
  5. Add the seafood mix to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the seafood is cooked through.
  6. Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, allowing it to simmer for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.
  7. Season the sauce with salt, black pepper, and dried oregano to taste.
  8. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to combine everything thoroughly and coat the pasta in the sauce.
  9. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley and basil.
