  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons (for cooking)
  • Whole grain burger buns - 2
  • Lettuce - 2 leaves
  • Tomato - 1, sliced
  • Avocado - 1/2, sliced

Steps

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a food processor, combine walnuts, cooked quinoa, rolled oats, minced garlic, chopped onion, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Pulse until the mixture is well combined but still has some texture.
  3. Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties.
