  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Burger buns - 2 units
  • Cheddar cheese - 2 slices
  • Lettuce - 2 leaves
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Pickles - 4 slices
  • Ketchup - 2 tablespoons
  • Mustard - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the alcatra beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well blended.
  2. Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness.
  4. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
  5. Toast the burger buns in the same skillet until lightly golden.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing the lettuce on the bottom bun, followed by the cheese-topped patty, tomato slices, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.
  7. Serve immediately with a side of your choice.
