- Water - 500 ml
- Unflavored gelatin powder - 10 g
- Sugar - 100 g
- Fruit juice (e.g., passion fruit, orange, or grape) - 200 ml each
- Food coloring (optional) - a few drops
- Fresh fruit pieces (e.g., kiwi, strawberries) - 50 g
Steps
- In a small saucepan, heat 250 ml of water until warm but not boiling.
- Sprinkle the unflavored gelatin powder over the warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
- Stir in 50 g of sugar into the gelatin mixture until completely dissolved.
- Add 200 ml of your chosen fruit juice to the gelatin mixture and mix well. If desired, add a few drops of food coloring to enhance the color.
- Pour the mixture into a mold or individual serving cups and refrigerate for about 30 minutes until set.
- Repeat the process with the remaining fruit juices, creating layers. Allow each layer to set for 30 minutes before adding the next layer.
- Once all layers are set, top with fresh fruit pieces for garnish.
- Refrigerate the completed Gelatina Colorida for at least 1 hour before serving.
