Ingredients
- Banana - 1 large, ripe
- Coconut milk - 150 ml
- Honey or maple syrup - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh strawberries - 100 grams
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - a pinch
Steps
- Peel the banana and cut it into chunks.
- In a blender, combine the banana, coconut milk, honey or maple syrup, lime juice, and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth.
- Wash and hull the strawberries, then slice them into halves.
- Pour a small amount of the banana-coconut mixture into each geladinho mold, filling it about one-third full.
- Add a layer of sliced strawberries on top of the mixture in each mold.
- Cover the strawberries with more of the banana-coconut mixture until the molds are nearly full.
- Insert sticks into the molds and freeze for at least 4 hours or until solid.
- To serve, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds, then gently pull out the geladinhos.
