Ingredients

  • Fusilli pasta - 200 grams
  • Butter - 30 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Heavy cream - 150 ml
  • Parmesan cheese - 50 grams, grated
  • Mozzarella cheese - 50 grams, shredded
  • Nutmeg - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Salt - to taste
  • Fresh parsley - for garnish

Steps

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the fusilli pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir frequently to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
  4. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and shredded mozzarella cheese to the skillet, stirring until melted and the sauce is creamy.
  5. Season the sauce with nutmeg, black pepper, and salt to taste. Mix well to combine all flavors.
  6. Add the cooked fusilli pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly with the cheese sauce.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
