Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs, boneless - 400 grams
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Lemon juice - 30 ml
  • Fresh parsley - 15 grams, chopped
  • Fresh cilantro - 15 grams, chopped
  • Olive oil - 30 ml
  • Salt - 5 grams
  • Black pepper - 2 grams
  • Paprika - 5 grams
  • All-purpose flour - 50 grams
  • Vegetable oil - for frying

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped parsley, chopped cilantro, olive oil, salt, black pepper, and paprika to create a marinade.
  2. Cut the chicken thighs into small pieces and add them to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. After marinating, remove the chicken from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Dredge each piece of marinated chicken in all-purpose flour, shaking off any excess flour.
  6. Carefully place the chicken pieces in the hot oil, frying in batches to avoid overcrowding. Fry for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Remove the chicken from the oil and place it on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley or cilantro, alongside rice or a salad.
