- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine cachaça, minced garlic, chopped onion, olive oil, lemon juice, paprika, black pepper, and salt to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are thoroughly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2 hours for enhanced flavor.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and let any excess liquid drip off. Discard the marinade.
- Place the chicken thighs on the grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F) and the chicken is nicely charred.
- Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
