  • Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
  • Fresh basil - a handful, chopped

Steps

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and diced carrot to the skillet, and sauté for an additional 2-3 minutes until the carrot is slightly softened.
