Ingredients

- Unsalted butter - 50 grams
- Heavy cream - 150 ml
- Parmesan cheese, grated - 75 grams
- Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
- Black pepper, freshly ground - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped - for garnish
Steps
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the gluten-free fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.
- While the pasta cooks, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently. Allow it to cook for about 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet, stirring continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with black pepper and salt to taste.
- Once the pasta is cooked, reserve a cup of pasta water, then drain the fettuccine and add it to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss well to coat the pasta, adding reserved pasta water as needed to reach desired sauce consistency.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
