- Fresh basil - 10 grams, chopped
- Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Pine nuts - 30 grams, toasted (for garnish)
Steps
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant but not browned.
- Stir in the chopped sun-dried tomatoes and red pepper flakes, cooking for another 2-3 minutes to combine the flavors.
- Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water, then drain the pasta.

- Season with salt, black pepper, and chopped fresh basil, mixing well.
