  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Tomato sauce - 200 grams
  • Black olives - 50 grams, sliced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/4 teaspoon (optional)

Steps

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  3. Stir in the tomato sauce, and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  4. Add the drained tuna to the skillet, breaking it up gently with a spoon. Stir in the sliced black olives and chopped parsley, cooking for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
