Steps
- In a medium saucepan, combine the cubed pumpkin and water. Bring to a boil and cook until the pumpkin is tender, about 15 minutes.
- Drain the pumpkin and mash it until smooth. Return the mashed pumpkin to the saucepan.
- Add the sugar, grated coconut, cinnamon, and clove powder to the mashed pumpkin. Stir well to combine.
- Cook over low heat, stirring frequently, for about 20-25 minutes or until the mixture thickens and pulls away from the sides of the pan.
