Ingredients

  • Pork ribs - 800 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Apple cider vinegar - 2 tablespoons
  • Sugar-free ketchup - 4 tablespoons
  • Mustard - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 200 milliliters

Steps

  1. Preheat your grill or BBQ to medium heat.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the minced garlic, chopped onion, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, black pepper, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, sugar-free ketchup, mustard, and water to create the marinade.
  3. Place the pork ribs in the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Allow them to marinate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 1-2 hours.
  4. Remove the ribs from the marinade and reserve the marinade for later use.
  5. Grill the ribs for about 30 minutes, turning occasionally until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. While the ribs are grilling, pour the reserved marinade into a saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat for 10-15 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Once the ribs are cooked, brush them with the thickened sauce and grill for an additional 5 minutes.
  8. Serve the ribs hot with extra sauce on the side.
