Ingredients
- Pork ribs - 800 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Apple cider vinegar - 2 tablespoons
- Sugar-free ketchup - 4 tablespoons
- Mustard - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 200 milliliters
Steps
- Preheat your grill or BBQ to medium heat.
- In a large bowl, mix together the minced garlic, chopped onion, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, black pepper, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, sugar-free ketchup, mustard, and water to create the marinade.
- Place the pork ribs in the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Allow them to marinate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 1-2 hours.
- Remove the ribs from the marinade and reserve the marinade for later use.
- Grill the ribs for about 30 minutes, turning occasionally until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- While the ribs are grilling, pour the reserved marinade into a saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat for 10-15 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Once the ribs are cooked, brush them with the thickened sauce and grill for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve the ribs hot with extra sauce on the side.
