Ingredients
- Beef ribs - 800 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Liquid smoke - 1 teaspoon
- Unsweetened tomato sauce - 100 grams
- Apple cider vinegar - 2 tablespoons
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Mustard - 1 tablespoon
- Stevia or erythritol (optional) - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, salt, and olive oil to create a dry rub.
- Rub the dry mixture all over the beef ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- In another bowl, combine the unsweetened tomato sauce, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and liquid smoke. If desired, add stevia or erythritol to sweeten the sauce.
- Place the beef ribs on the grill, bone side down, and cook for about 2 hours, turning occasionally to achieve even cooking.
- During the last 30 minutes of grilling, brush the barbecue sauce generously over the ribs, allowing it to caramelize slightly.
- Once the ribs are tender and the meat is pulling away from the bone, remove them from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes.
- Slice between the bones and serve warm with additional barbecue sauce on the side.
