- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Skewers - 4 (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the minced garlic, lime juice, olive oil, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Add the chicken hearts to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Preheat the grill or BBQ to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken hearts onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each heart for even cooking.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken hearts are cooked through and have a nice char.
- Remove the skewers from the grill, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
