- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
Steps
- Preheat the grill to medium heat.
- Wash the chayotes thoroughly and cut them in half lengthwise.
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Brush the cut sides of the chayote halves with the marinade, ensuring they are well coated.
- Place the chayote halves on the grill, cut side down, and grill for about 10-12 minutes until they are tender and have nice grill marks.
- Flip the chayote halves and grill for an additional 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from the grill and sprinkle chopped fresh parsley on top before serving.
