- Ground beef - 400 grams
- Cheddar cheese - 100 grams, sliced
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Burger buns - 2 units
- Lettuce - 2 leaves
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Pickles - 4 slices
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Hot sauce - to taste
Steps
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the patties and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
- While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns in a separate pan until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by spreading mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun, followed by lettuce, the cheesy patty, tomato slices, pickles, and a drizzle of hot sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.
