- Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 small, chopped
- Bell pepper - 1/2, chopped
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Steps
- Soak the Carne de Sol in water for about 1 hour to reduce the saltiness, then drain and pat dry.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, sautéing until the onion is translucent.
- Add the Carne de Sol to the skillet, cooking for about 10-15 minutes until it is browned and heated through.
- Stir in the chopped bell pepper and cook for an additional 5 minutes until the pepper is tender.
- Reduce heat to low, add the mozzarella cheese on top of the beef mixture, and cover the skillet until the cheese melts.
- Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the remaining tablespoon of butter and chopped parsley.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste, and serve hot.
