- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lemon - 1, juiced
- Olive oil - 50 ml, for frying
Steps
- In a bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the egg and season with a pinch of salt.
- In a third bowl, place the panko breadcrumbs and mix in the chopped parsley.
- Dip each shrimp first into the flour mixture, then into the beaten egg, and finally coat with the panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the shrimp in batches, cooking for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the shrimp from the skillet and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Serve hot with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice on top.
