Ingredients

  • Shrimp - 300 grams, peeled and deveined
  • All-purpose flour - 50 grams
  • Egg - 1 large, beaten
  • Panko breadcrumbs - 100 grams
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon - 1, juiced
  • Olive oil - 50 ml, for frying

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. In another bowl, beat the egg and season with a pinch of salt.
  3. In a third bowl, place the panko breadcrumbs and mix in the chopped parsley.
  4. Dip each shrimp first into the flour mixture, then into the beaten egg, and finally coat with the panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  6. Fry the shrimp in batches, cooking for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  8. Serve hot with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice on top.
