Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine shrimp, minced garlic, chopped cilantro, lime juice, olive oil, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to coat the shrimp evenly.
  2. Place a steamer basket in a pot and add 1/2 liter of water. Bring the water to a boil over medium heat.
  3. Once the water is boiling, add the marinated shrimp to the steamer basket, spreading them out in a single layer.
  4. Cover the pot with a lid and steam the shrimp for about 8-10 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Remove the steamer basket from the pot, and let the shrimp rest for a minute before serving.
  6. Serve the shrimp with additional lime wedges and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro on top.
