  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, diced
  • Carrot - 1 medium, sliced
  • Celery - 1 stalk, chopped
  • Fish stock - 500 milliliters
  • Cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)

Steps

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until the onion becomes translucent.
  3. Stir in the diced tomato, bell pepper, carrot, and celery, cooking for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are soft.
  4. Pour in the fish stock and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the piranha fillets to the pot and cook for 10-12 minutes or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily.
