- Water - 250 ml
- Milk - 100 ml
- Vegetable oil - 60 ml
- Tapioca flour - 200 g
- Grated Parmesan cheese - 100 g
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Egg - 1 large
- Ground coffee - 30 g
- Sugar - 1 tsp (optional)
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a saucepan, combine water, milk, and vegetable oil. Heat over medium until it starts to boil.
- In a mixing bowl, combine tapioca flour and salt. Pour the hot liquid mixture over the flour and mix well until smooth.
- Allow the mixture to cool for a few minutes, then add the egg and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix until well incorporated.
- Grease a mini muffin tin or use silicone molds. Spoon the mixture into the molds, filling each about 3/4 full.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the tops are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- While the pão de queijo is baking, brew the coffee using your preferred method. Add sugar if desired.
- Serve the warm pão de queijo with the freshly brewed coffee.
