- Chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic, minced - 1 clove
- Onion, finely chopped - 1 small
- Cilantro, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Pepper - ¼ teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Romaine lettuce leaves - 4
- Tomato, sliced - 1 medium
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, cooked shrimp, coconut milk, shrimp paste, chili powder, minced garlic, chopped onion, cilantro, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the lettuce and tomato for serving.
- Once cooked, assemble the burger by placing a patty on a romaine lettuce leaf, topping it with slices of tomato, and another lettuce leaf on top. Serve immediately.
