  • Chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic, minced - 1 clove
  • Onion, finely chopped - 1 small
  • Cilantro, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - ½ teaspoon
  • Pepper - ¼ teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Romaine lettuce leaves - 4
  • Tomato, sliced - 1 medium

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, cooked shrimp, coconut milk, shrimp paste, chili powder, minced garlic, chopped onion, cilantro, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the lettuce and tomato for serving.
  5. Once cooked, assemble the burger by placing a patty on a romaine lettuce leaf, topping it with slices of tomato, and another lettuce leaf on top. Serve immediately.
