- Ground pork - 300 grams
- Garlic cloves - 2, minced
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Cheese (optional) - 50 grams, sliced
- Lettuce leaves - 4, for wrapping
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Avocado - 1, sliced
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, minced garlic, chopped onion, parsley, cilantro, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each into a patty approximately 2 cm thick.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the pork patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 70°C.
- If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking to allow it to melt.
- Once cooked, remove the patties from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- To serve, place each patty on a lettuce leaf, top with sliced tomato and avocado, and wrap the lettuce around the burger. Enjoy!
