- Whole wheat burger buns - 2
- Lettuce - 2 leaves
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Avocado - 1/2 medium, sliced
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the minced chicken, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into two burger patties.
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until they are cooked through and golden brown.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the whole wheat buns. Toast them lightly if desired.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, followed by the cooked chicken patty, tomato slices, and avocado. Top with the other half of the bun.
