- Ground lamb - 250 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Whole grain burger buns - 2
- Avocado - 1/2, sliced
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Lettuce leaves - 2
- Greek yogurt - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, minced garlic, chopped parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Shape the lamb mixture into two burger patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
- Preheat a grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 70°C.
- While the patties are cooking, toast the whole grain burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly golden.
- Assemble the burger by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the cooked lamb patty, slices of avocado, and tomato. Top with a dollop of Greek yogurt and cover with the other half of the bun.
