  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Whole grain burger buns - 2
  • Avocado - 1/2, sliced
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Lettuce leaves - 2
  • Greek yogurt - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, minced garlic, chopped parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Shape the lamb mixture into two burger patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
  3. Preheat a grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 70°C.
  4. While the patties are cooking, toast the whole grain burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly golden.
  5. Assemble the burger by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the cooked lamb patty, slices of avocado, and tomato. Top with a dollop of Greek yogurt and cover with the other half of the bun.
