- Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons (for cooking)
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large (for wrapping)
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Avocado - 1 small, sliced
Steps
- In a food processor, combine the shrimp, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, egg, almond flour, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Pulse until the mixture is well combined but still slightly chunky.
- Shape the shrimp mixture into two burger patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- Once cooked, remove the patties from the skillet and let them rest for a minute.
- To assemble, place each shrimp patty on a large lettuce leaf, and top with slices of tomato and avocado. Wrap the lettuce around the filling and enjoy!
