- Top sirloin beef - 400 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Burger buns - 2
- Cheddar cheese - 2 slices
- Lettuce - 2 leaves
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Pickles - 4 slices
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the top sirloin beef, minced garlic, chopped onion, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, about 2 cm thick.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the burger patties and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
- Toast the burger buns in the skillet for about 1-2 minutes until golden.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the burger patty with melted cheese, sliced tomatoes, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
- Serve immediately with your choice of side.
