Ingredients
- Swiss chard - 200 grams, chopped
- Ground beef - 250 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Egg - 1 large
- Almond flour - 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
Steps
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the chopped Swiss chard to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, sautéed chard mixture, egg, almond flour, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Form the mixture into 2 patties of equal size.
- In the same skillet, add a bit more olive oil if necessary and heat over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- Once cooked, remove from heat and let the burgers rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
