Ingredients
- Sweetened condensed milk - 200 ml
- Unsweetened cocoa powder - 15 g
- Unsalted kosher butter - 10 g
- Chocolate sprinkles (kosher) - 50 g
- Pinch of salt - 1 g
Steps
- In a medium saucepan, combine the sweetened condensed milk, unsweetened cocoa powder, unsalted kosher butter, and a pinch of salt.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon, until the mixture thickens and begins to pull away from the sides of the pan, about 10-15 minutes.
- Remove the pan from heat and let the mixture cool for a few minutes.
- Once cool enough to handle, grease your hands with a little butter and scoop small portions of the mixture to roll into balls, about 2.5 cm in diameter.
- Roll each ball in chocolate sprinkles until fully coated.
- Place the brigadeiros on a plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
