- Fermented cassava (puba) - 200 grams
- Coconut milk - 150 ml
- Sugar - 100 grams
- Eggs - 2 large
- Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - a pinch
- Grated coconut - 50 grams
- Butter (melted) - 30 grams
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a small baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the fermented cassava, sugar, and melted butter, stirring until well mixed.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
- Pour in the coconut milk and mix until fully incorporated.
- Sprinkle in the baking powder and salt, then fold in the grated coconut gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
