  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • All-purpose flour - 50 grams
  • Baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil - for frying

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cooked rice, cottage cheese, egg, grated Parmesan, chopped green onions, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Mix well until the ingredients are fully incorporated.
  3. Add the all-purpose flour and baking powder to the mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Using your hands, shape the mixture into small balls or patties (about the size of a golf ball).
  6. Carefully place the shaped bolinhos into the hot oil, frying them in batches until golden brown on all sides, about 3-4 minutes per batch.
