  • cooked white rice - 200 grams
  • chickpea flour - 50 grams
  • water - 100 milliliters
  • green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
  • fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • oil for frying - as needed

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cooked rice, chickpea flour, and water until you have a thick batter.
  2. Add the chopped green onions, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the rice mixture and stir until well combined.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Using a spoon, scoop small portions of the mixture and carefully drop them into the hot oil, flattening them slightly to form small patties.
