- All-purpose flour - 50 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Breadcrumbs - 100 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Tomato sauce - 200 grams
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 100 grams
- Parmesan cheese, grated - 30 grams
- Fresh parsley, chopped - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Season the beef steaks with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.
- Dredge each steak in flour, shaking off the excess.
- Beat the egg in a shallow dish and dip the floured steaks into the egg, coating thoroughly.
- Coat the steaks in breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the breaded steaks for about 4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
- Transfer the cooked steaks to a baking dish. Spoon the tomato sauce evenly over each steak.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top of the sauce.
