Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin - 400 grams
  • Eggs - 2 large
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 medium, sliced
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Rice - 150 grams
  • Potatoes - 300 grams
  • Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped

Steps

  1. Cook the rice according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. Peel and cut the potatoes into fries, then fry them in a hot oil until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels and season with salt.
  3. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until translucent.
  4. Season the beef sirloin with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Add the beef to the skillet, cooking for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  5. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil and reduce heat to medium. Crack the eggs into the skillet and fry until the whites are set and the yolks are still runny, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. To serve, place a portion of rice on each plate, top with the cooked beef, and place a fried egg on top. Add a side of fries and garnish with chopped parsley.
