Ingredients

  • Potatoes - 400 grams
  • Olive oil - 4 tablespoons
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - ½ teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped

Steps

  1. Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into thin, even slices or wedges.
  2. Soak the potato slices in cold water for 10 minutes to remove excess starch, then drain and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add the dried potato slices to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
  5. Heat a large frying pan or skillet over medium-high heat and add enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan.
  6. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the seasoned potato slices in a single layer, cooking in batches if necessary.
  7. Fry the potatoes for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  8. Once cooked, remove the potatoes from the pan and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.
  9. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
