- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - ½ teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
Steps
- Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into thin, even slices or wedges.
- Soak the potato slices in cold water for 10 minutes to remove excess starch, then drain and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the dried potato slices to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
- Heat a large frying pan or skillet over medium-high heat and add enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan.
- Once the oil is hot, carefully add the seasoned potato slices in a single layer, cooking in batches if necessary.
- Fry the potatoes for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Once cooked, remove the potatoes from the pan and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.
- Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
