Ingredients

  • Wild boar ground meat - 400 grams
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Sea salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coconut oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Red onion - 1/2 medium, thinly sliced
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 large
  • Mustard - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the wild boar ground meat with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, sea salt, and black pepper. Mix well until evenly incorporated.
  2. Divide the mixture into 2 equal portions and shape them into patties, approximately 2.5 cm thick.
  3. Heat coconut oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the toppings: slice the avocado, tomato, and red onion.
  5. Once the patties are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
  6. To assemble the burgers, place each patty on a large lettuce leaf, add sliced avocado, tomato, and red onion. Top with mustard before folding the lettuce leaf over to create a burger.
