Ingredients
- Wild boar ground meat - 400 grams
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Sea salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Coconut oil - 1 tablespoon
- Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Red onion - 1/2 medium, thinly sliced
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large
- Mustard - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the wild boar ground meat with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, sea salt, and black pepper. Mix well until evenly incorporated.
- Divide the mixture into 2 equal portions and shape them into patties, approximately 2.5 cm thick.
- Heat coconut oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the toppings: slice the avocado, tomato, and red onion.
- Once the patties are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- To assemble the burgers, place each patty on a large lettuce leaf, add sliced avocado, tomato, and red onion. Top with mustard before folding the lettuce leaf over to create a burger.
