- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sea salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Coconut flour - 2 tablespoons
- Egg - 1 large
- Avocado oil - 2 tablespoons (for cooking)
- Romaine lettuce leaves - 4 large
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Red onion - 1/4 medium, thinly sliced

Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground venison, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, sea salt, coconut flour, and egg. Mix until the ingredients are well incorporated.

- Heat avocado oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the venison patties to the skillet.
- Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- While the burgers are cooking, prepare your toppings: wash the romaine lettuce leaves, slice the tomato, and thinly slice the red onion.
- Once the burgers are done, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes.
- To assemble each burger, place a venison patty on two romaine lettuce leaves, top with tomato slices, red onion, pickles, and a drizzle of mustard.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your Paleo-friendly venison burger!
