Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 200 grams
  • Broccoli florets - 100 grams
  • Carrot - 1 medium, sliced
  • Red bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Snap peas - 100 grams
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 50 ml
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (optional)

Steps

  1. Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut into 1-inch cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, minced garlic, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water to create the garlic sauce.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the tofu cubes and stir-fry until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the sliced carrot, broccoli, bell pepper, and snap peas to the pan. Stir-fry for an additional 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Pour the garlic sauce over the tofu and vegetables, stirring well to coat everything. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
