- Firm tofu - 200 grams
- Red bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Broccoli florets - 150 grams
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Snow peas - 100 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 inch, grated
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, for garnish
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the tofu cubes and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the red bell pepper, broccoli, carrot, and snow peas to the skillet. Stir-fry for 5-6 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the tofu to the skillet, then add the soy sauce and sesame oil. Toss everything together to combine, cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
