Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 200 grams
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cornstarch - 2 tablespoons
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chopped fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Press the tofu for about 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and mix well.
  4. Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and gently toss to coat evenly. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle cornstarch over the marinated tofu and toss again until the tofu is well coated.
  6. Place the tofu bites on a lined baking sheet in a single layer.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden and crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
