Ingredients

  • Fresh spinach - 150 grams
  • Raw cashews - 50 grams
  • Nutritional yeast - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 100 milliliters

Steps

  1. Soak the cashews in water for at least 1 hour, then drain and rinse them.
  2. In a blender, combine the soaked cashews, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, olive oil, and water.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, add more water a tablespoon at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
  4. In a pan, heat a small amount of olive oil over medium heat and add the fresh spinach. Cook until wilted, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Remove the wilted spinach from the heat and let it cool slightly, then chop finely.
  6. Fold the chopped spinach into the cashew mixture until well combined.
  7. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes before serving.
