- Cornstarch - 1/4 cup (30g)
- Plant-based milk - 3/4 cup (180ml)
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Buffalo sauce - 1/2 cup (120ml)
- Vegan butter - 2 tablespoons (30g)
- Vegan ranch dressing - 1/2 cup (120ml) for dipping
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets and set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, plant-based milk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, allowing excess to drip off, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the cauliflower in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
- While the cauliflower is baking, melt the vegan butter in a small saucepan over low heat and mix in the buffalo sauce until combined.
- Once the cauliflower is done baking, remove it from the oven and toss it in the buffalo sauce mixture until evenly coated.
- Return the coated cauliflower to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the wings are crispy.
- Serve warm with vegan ranch dressing for dipping.
