  • Mushrooms - 200 grams (sliced)
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves (minced)
  • Onion - 1 small (diced)
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Nutritional yeast - 2 tablespoons
  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable broth - 1 1/2 cups
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the cold vegan butter to the flour mixture and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Pour in the non-dairy milk and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and gently knead it 3-4 times. Pat it into a 1-inch thick circle.
