Ingredients

  • Raw cashews - 100 grams
  • Nutritional yeast - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Dijon mustard - 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh dill, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Water - 60 milliliters

Steps

  1. Soak the raw cashews in water for at least 2 hours, then drain and rinse.
  2. In a blender or food processor, combine soaked cashews, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, Dijon mustard, chopped dill, salt, black pepper, and water.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more water, one tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  5. Transfer the spread to a serving bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes to let the flavors meld.
