- Almond flour - 100 grams
- Unsweetened shredded coconut - 50 grams
- Maple syrup - 3 tablespoons
- Coconut oil - 2 tablespoons, melted
- Almond butter - 2 tablespoons
- Dark vegan chocolate chips - 100 grams
- Almonds - 10 whole
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, shredded coconut, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and almond butter until well mixed.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a lined 8x4 inch (20x10 cm) loaf pan to form an even layer.
- Melt the dark vegan chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
- Pour half of the melted chocolate over the almond-coconut layer in the pan, spreading it evenly.
- Place whole almonds on top of the chocolate layer, then pour the remaining melted chocolate over the almonds, spreading it to cover them.
- Refrigerate the bars for at least 20 minutes until the chocolate is set.
- Once set, remove from the pan and cut into bars.
