Ingredients
- Ground turkey - 400 grams
- Breadcrumbs - 50 grams
- Grated Parmesan cheese - 30 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Italian seasoning - 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Tomato sauce - 200 grams
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, finely chopped onion, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Mix the ingredients until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 2.5 cm (1 inch) in diameter.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the meatballs.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until cooked through and lightly browned.
- While the meatballs are baking, heat the tomato sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Once the meatballs are done, serve them topped with the heated tomato sauce.
