Ingredients

  • Ground turkey - 400 grams
  • Breadcrumbs - 50 grams
  • Grated Parmesan cheese - 30 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Italian seasoning - 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Tomato sauce - 200 grams

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, finely chopped onion, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Mix the ingredients until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  4. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 2.5 cm (1 inch) in diameter.
  5. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Drizzle the olive oil over the meatballs.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until cooked through and lightly browned.
  8. While the meatballs are baking, heat the tomato sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
  9. Once the meatballs are done, serve them topped with the heated tomato sauce.
