Ingredients
- Ground turkey - 500 grams
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Whole grain burger buns - 2
- Lettuce leaves - 2
- Tomato, sliced - 1 medium
- Red onion, sliced - 1/2 small
- Avocado, sliced - 1/2

Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix until just combined.
- Form the mixture into 2 equal patties, about 2 cm thick.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the turkey patties and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 74°C.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the burger buns by toasting them lightly on a separate pan or in a toaster.
- Assemble the burgers: place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, add the turkey patty, top with tomato slices, red onion, and avocado.
- Spread mustard on the top half of the bun and place it on top of the assembled burger.
- Serve immediately with your choice of side.
