- Ground turkey - 250 grams
- Fresh spinach - 100 grams, chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Egg - 1 large
- Breadcrumbs - 50 grams
- Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Dried oregano - 1/2 teaspoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, chopped spinach, sautéed onion and garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and oregano. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 2.5 cm (1 inch) in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and golden brown.
- Serve hot with your choice of side.
