Ingredients

  • Ground turkey - 250 grams
  • Fresh spinach - 100 grams, chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Breadcrumbs - 50 grams
  • Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Dried oregano - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, chopped spinach, sautéed onion and garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and oregano. Mix until well combined.
  4. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 2.5 cm (1 inch) in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and golden brown.
  6. Serve hot with your choice of side.
